Seeing brands jump on every trend feels off to me.
Part of me gets it, they want in on the buzz. But it often feels forced and not genuine. What's your take on corporate tries to go viral?

Honestly, it drives me nuts when companies do that. Tbh, it always comes off as so fake and try-hard. I saw this one ad where a brand used a meme from months ago and it was just sad. They don't get the culture or why people care about the trend. It makes me not want to buy their stuff because it feels like a cheap trick. Ngl, I wish they'd just stick to what they're good at instead of chasing clout.

Ngl saw a cereal brand use dead memes last week, totally get what @the_linda means about the cringe factor.

Wasn't it worse when they used no memes at all? I used to think any attempt was fine, but @morgan.logan is right, it just feels desperate now. Totally get the cringe.
