PSA: My random clay sculpture took off on social media overnight.

I was just playing with clay to relax and made a silly figure. Posted it on a whim before bed. Woke up to thousands of likes and shares. I think the messy, handmade look made it feel real to people. Have you ever had something simple blow up like that?

Question if likes on a phone screen actually matter.

But what if that attention helps you find your real people?

Carter's got a point about whether those likes mean anything real. When something you made for yourself suddenly gets that much attention, it can mess with your head. You start wondering if you should try to make more stuff like that instead of what you actually want to make. It turns a personal thing into a performance for an audience you never asked for.
