I saw a TikTok hack for slicing onions without crying, and it's legit

Tried it last night while prepping dinner. No tears at all, just chop fast under running water.

Wait, what? Forever? That's a wild thing to just accept.

Tried that trick last week and it actually works. I felt a bit silly standing there with the tap on, but my eyes stayed dry for once.
