Bought a $500 'viral' course on TikTok trends, learned nothing new

Last month I saw this course all over my FYP about cracking the algorithm, paid $500 for it thinking there was some secret sauce. Turns out it was just screenshots of popular creators' captions and a bunch of generic advice about posting at 6pm. I could've gotten the same info by scrolling this subreddit for an hour. Has anyone else dropped cash on a trend 'guru' and felt like an idiot after?

Man, that stings. My version of this was paying $200 for a "shadowban fix" ebook that literally told me to delete and reinstall the app three times. Spoiler alert: the app still hates me. The only real lesson I learned is that my wallet and my FYP have the same problem, they both show me stuff I want but can't actually use. At least you got screenshots, I got a PDF that looked like it was made in 2009. We should start a support group, but I'm guessing $50 to join and the secret is just to post at 6pm.
