Appreciation post: the guy who posted a 12 second clip of his grandma's bridge club instead of the 3 minute edit
Last month I was helping my uncle run socials for his bagel shop in Toledo and I had two clips to pick from. One was a 3 minute behind the scenes thing I cut with music and captions and all that. The other was just 12 seconds of him pulling a tray of everything bagels out of the oven, no text, no song, shot vertical by accident. The 12 second one hit 480k views in 4 days and the polished one got maybe 900. I keep going back to why: the short one showed the steam and the crust crackle, and people could smell it through the screen, if that makes sense. What is the shortest thing you ever posted that beat something you spent hours editing?
