Warning: I was posting at the wrong times for an entire year
I used to just throw my videos up whenever I finished editing them, usually around 9pm. Then last month I checked my Instagram insights and saw my core audience was most active at 7am. I had been missing them by 14 hours every single day. Has anyone else found a huge gap between when they post and when their people are actually online?

hold on @xena1, 10pm posts get MORE saves and comments?? that's wild. i've been convinced i need to post at 6am or die trying but maybe the night owls are where the real action is. gotta test this out.

Wait, isn't the real question whether your content actually works for the people who watch it at 9pm? I used to stress about timing too until I realized my best performing videos were always the ones I posted late at night. Sure, the analytics show my audience is supposed to be active at noon, but my 10pm posts get way more comments and saves. Maybe the people who are up at weird hours are just more engaged, you know? Might be worth testing a few late posts before you completely shift everything.
