Spent 6 hours trying to fix a shadows issue on my IG reel that was just a wrong brightness setting

I was so frustrated last night because my Reels kept getting low views and I thought the algorithm was punishing me. Turns out my video was too dark because I had my phone brightness turned down while editing and nobody could see the product I was showing. Has anyone else wasted a ton of time on a dumb setting like that?

Kind of disagree here. Sometimes the fix really is that simple and we just need to slow down and check basics before diving into complex stuff. Spent an hour once trying to fix my audio levels and it turned out my headphone jack was loose.

Oh man, I started checking the brightness on my phone before I upload anything now and it saved me a ton of frustration.
