Showerthought: My brother's kid's birthday party changed my view on posting times.

Was at my nephew's party in Springfield last weekend, and my sister mentioned she only scrolls Instagram after 8 PM when the kids are asleep. I checked my analytics, and my 9 PM posts get double the engagement of my 2 PM ones. Never really thought about the parent audience before. Anyone else find a specific time that just works way better?

Bedtime works for some, but @thomas_martinez, my crowd is up at 5 AM.

Test posts at 9:15, right after bedtime.

Just read this article that said the best time for engagement is actually between 10 PM and midnight for certain niches, so 9:15 might be early for some crowds. I mean, it depends on whether your followers are scrolling after they get the kids settled or if they're night owls. Maybe it's just me but 9:15 feels like that weird in-between time when people are still doing last chores or watching one more episode. I've seen some creators swear by later testing because people are more relaxed and likely to interact. But 5 AM crews are a whole different beast, that's more of a coffee and scroll demographic.
