Pro tip: I thought posting at 6am was pointless, then my reel hit 40k views
I kept seeing people say to post early in the morning and I figured that was just recycled advice. But I got curious and looked at my own numbers, and my followers are mostly up between 6 and 7am before work. So I tried posting my reels at 6:15am for two weeks straight. One of them pulled 40,000 views when my normal average was around 800, and the first hour was way more active than anything I'd posted at night. Has anyone else found their sweet spot was a time they never expected?
Did you check if that same 6am slot works on weekends too? I feel like people's morning scroll habits change a lot on Saturdays and Sundays, so the magic window might shift by a couple hours. Might be worth testing both to see if it's really about the time or just about catching people before their day starts.
