Picked video over carousel posts for 2 weeks straight

I was stuck between short video clips (Reels style) and photo carousels for promoting classroom DIY projects. Went all in on video for 14 days and engagement dropped 40% compared to my usual carousel posts. Anyone else find that text-heavy carousels still beat video for tutorial content?

Text-heavy carousels still beat video" - this exactly. I tried video for my tutorial stuff and my views tanked too. The only thing that worked for me was splitting longer tutorials into 3-4 carousel slides with step-by-step photos and bold text highlights. More work but people actually engaged with it.

40% drop on a tutorial is crazy, @nancyw97. Most people don't realize how fast people bail on videos like that. Guess people just don't have the patience to sit through the whole thing.
