My dumb porch video hit 11,000 views and the one I spent 3 hours editing got 47
I posted a 14 second clip of my dog stealing a flip flop off the porch in Gulfport, zero editing, zero hashtag research, and it somehow crossed 11k views by Sunday. Meanwhile the video where I tested 3 different posting times and wrote a whole keyword list got 47 views total. I sat there staring at my own analytics trying to figure out what the algorithm actually wants from me. Is it really just random luck or is there something about the low effort stuff that the app pushes harder? Would love to hear if anyone else has watched their careful post get buried while a throwaway clip takes off.
