Just realized a commenter telling me my video intros were 'too slow' was the best advice I got this year.

I cut my intro from 15 seconds to 5 seconds and my retention rate jumped by 20% in a week, so what's one piece of harsh feedback that actually worked for you?

Damn, what was the harshest part of hearing that feedback?

The worst part was realizing how much time I wasted for everyone. I'd send a 500-word email about a simple Tuesday meeting, burying the room number in paragraph three. People would reply asking for the basic info I already wrote, because they just skimmed and gave up. It meant my core message was lost in my own noise.

My old boss said my emails were novels, and @stellam68, he was right.
