I used to think posting at peak hours was a myth, but now I'm a believer

For months I just threw my content up whenever I finished editing it, usually late at night. Read a thread saying 9am EST was the sweet spot for my niche. Tried it for 2 weeks straight and my engagement jumped by 40% on average. Still feels a bit like guesswork but the data doesn't lie. Has anyone else found a specific time slot that works way better than their old habits?

My own testing actually showed 9am EST dropped 20% versus my usual midnight posts.

Read somewhere that audience time zones actually matter more than the actual hour posted. My followers are mostly on the west coast so 9am EST flops for me too.

Yeah I feel that. Time zones are everything. I tried posting at 6 pm local time for my west coast crowd and it doubled my engagement. Have you checked your analytics to see when most of them are actually online?
