I spent $75 on a 'viral sound' pack for Reels and it was a total waste

The pack had 30 trending audio clips that were supposed to boost reach, but they were all from months ago and the algorithm had moved on. My views actually dropped because the content felt stale. Has anyone found a better way to find current sounds without paying?

My local library offers a free social media workshop every month. The librarian showed us how to use the Instagram search bar to find new audio by typing in keywords. I found five fresh sounds last week that way.

My buddy bought one of those last month. He said the most popular track was that "oh no" song from like 2020. Just scroll the reels tab and steal sounds from there, it's free.
