I finally cracked 10,000 views on a Reel after 8 months of nothing

I posted cooking content for 8 months and barely got 300 views per video, then one night I switched to a vertical format with a loud voiceover and it hit 10,000 views in 3 days. The only difference was I used a specific trending audio and kept the clip under 15 seconds instead of 60. Has anybody else seen a HUGE jump just by switching up their video length or audio choice?

8 months of nothing" isn't really nothing, you got 300 views which is still a solid baseline for testing.
