I figured out a posting trick after a weird comment thread

Turns out, asking a question in your caption gets people to talk more in the comments. I did this on a pic of my lunch, and my old gym buddy started arguing about avocados with a stranger.

The community board at my library used to have boring notices, but when they posted 'What book changed your mind?' last month, it was covered in sticky notes. It's the same thing online, where a simple question turns a scroll into a conversation. We just can't help but jump in when someone asks for our two cents.

That's totally how it works, man. Posted a picture of my coffee last week with just "cold brew season" and got two likes. Next day, tried "cold brew or iced coffee, which is better?" and my aunt and some coworker started a whole fight about oat milk in the comments. It's weirdly effective for getting people going. What was the avocado fight about, was it a price thing or a taste thing?

Oh man, @victorh67, the avocado fight was definitely about taste, which made it even more pointless.
