Hit 5000 followers after posting only 3 times this week and now I'm questioning my old strategy
I used to post every single day chasing that algorithm but this week I posted a random Thursday night video that hit 5000 followers while my daily stuff barely got 200, so which strategy actually works better for the long haul?

Consistency beats burnout every time. Posting less but with better timing and content that actually connects will always outperform grinding out daily stuff that nobody cares about. Try sticking to 2-3 times a week but put real effort into what you post and pay attention to when your people are actually online. Quality over quantity isn't just a saying, it's what builds a following that sticks around.

I saw this same thing play out at my old job with a guy named Mike who kept trying to work 12 hour days because he thought it showed commitment. He burned out in three months and quit, while another guy who just did solid work for 6 hours a day and went home actually got promoted twice. It's like people think constant motion equals progress but really it's just wearing yourself down for no reason. Same thing happens in friendships too - the people who text you every single day usually fizzle out, but the ones who check in once a week with something meaningful are the ones who've been around for years. The whole "more is better" mindset is just a trap that keeps you busy instead of effective. Your point about timing really hits too because showing up when people are actually ready to listen is way smarter than just yelling into the void constantly.

Oh man the daily texter thing is so real. I had a friend who would send good morning texts every single day for like two months straight and then just vanished into thin air. Meanwhile my buddy who I hear from maybe twice a month is the first person I'd call if I actually needed help with something.
