Hit 10k followers last month and it meant nothing till I checked my actual engagement numbers

I had 10k followers but only 50 likes on posts, so I started focusing on getting 200 real followers who actually comment and share instead and now my reach is way better - has anyone else noticed a big drop in reach after hitting a certain follower count?

Ngl, "the fake followers thing is so real" just hit me like a truck. I actually spent months convinced I was the only one obsessing over numbers that meant nothing. Turns out half my old "fans" were bots from some random dude in India selling engagement packs for $20. Honestly, the relief when you stop checking that stat is insane.
