Found out my post timing was wrong for 2 months, thanks to a random stat
I always posted my food pics around 7pm because that felt right, but a friend showed me my audience's active hours in the analytics and it turns out most of my followers are online at 11am. That one number from last week changed everything, my engagement doubled on a single recipe post after I switched. Has anyone else found that their peak time was totally different from what they guessed?

My food blog analytics showed 9pm was my sweet spot, but I was posting at noon for six months. Once I moved to 9pm, my dinner recipes jumped from 200 views to almost 900 in a week. The trick is to check your stats every month too, because my audience shifted after daylight savings time ended. I also started testing two different times on the same day to see which one really stuck. You got lucky your friend caught it, but now you gotta keep an eye on it so it doesn't drift again.
