A friend told me my Instagram captions were too long and boring
She said people scroll right past my posts because the text looks like a wall. I started keeping captions under 100 characters and using more emojis and questions. My reach on my last 5 posts went up by almost 70%. Anyone else find that shorter is better for engagement?

Read an article about how even TV shows have shorter scenes now. A show from the 90s might have a conversation last three minutes, but now cuts happen every 30 seconds. It's like our brains are trained for constant new shots. Makes rewatching older stuff feel weirdly slow.
