Ever notice how many products just don't work like the picture shows? You buy something expecting one thing and get a totally different result. It's getting hard to trust what you see online anymore.

Take a look at those online reviews showing a perfect drywall mud job, then try it yourself for the first time and wonder what went wrong. I've been in that boat plenty, and most of the time it comes down to not following the directions or using the right prep work. A lot of those product photos are shot under perfect lighting with a pro using top shelf gear. Your mileage will vary if you're just winging it with a cheap brush or skipping the primer.
