Update: My shop in Charlotte had a line out the door for three days straight

A local news crew came by Monday to film a piece on small businesses, and by Tuesday morning we had a two hour wait with guys asking for the exact cut they saw on TV. I had to call in two barbers from a closed shop down the street just to help clear the rush. Has anyone else ever had a sudden boom like that and how did you handle the follow-up appointments?

Wow, that sounds completely wild and also kind of amazing. Getting that kind of rush must be so stressful to manage in the moment. Hope you can catch your breath a bit now and maybe turn some of those new faces into regulars.

Honestly I used to hate rushes but this one changed my mind, it was weirdly fun.

Exactly, that's the key right there - turning those new faces into regulars. If even half of them come back, that rush turns into solid business growth instead of just a chaotic memory. Plus people who show up during a crazy rush tend to be the ones who actually appreciate a good spot when they find one.
