The day I ditched my straight razors for a shavette on walk-ins completely changed my speed.

I used to spend 20 minutes honing and stropping for every neck shave until I grabbed a disposable-blade shavette three months ago and now I'm done in under eight with zero blood, has anyone else made that swap and noticed the same time drop?

You ever see a friend try to shave his own neck with a shavette for the first time? My buddy Greg bought one thinking he'd look like a pro barber. First try, he sliced a perfect little crescent moon into his jawline, blood everywhere, had to use like six styptic pencils before it stopped. He ended up finishing with his old electric trimmer, all pissed off. So yeah, zero blood sounds like a lucky streak more than a guarantee.

Tbh 'zero blood' is a bold claim when shavettes can still nick you just as easy.

Yeah, "bold claim" is right. I actually watched a barber on YouTube who tested like six different shavettes and still managed to nick himself on the third try, even being super careful. So yeah, zero blood might be a bit of a stretch for most of us.
