Switched from Wahl clippers to Andis at the chair and my fades got sharper in 2 weeks
I kept fighting with the adjustable lever on my Wahl Seniors for years but after trying an Andis Master on a friend's recommendation my blend lines disappeared way faster, has anyone else had that kind of night and day difference switching brands?

Andis just works smoother, less fighting the tool.

Andis motor just has that steady power delivery that doesn't bog down as much. My old Oster kept pulling and snagging on thicker coats, felt like I was wrestling the dog the whole time. Switched to the Andis AGC and it glides through way easier even on matted stuff, no jerking or stopping. Definitely less arm fatigue after a full day of grooms.

Did you ever read that old grooming blog post comparing different clipper motors? It was talking about how the rotary motors in Andis clippers maintain torque better under load, which is exactly what you're describing. That steady power delivery makes a huge difference when you hit a patch of matted fur your Oster would just choke on. I'm not surprised your arm feels better at the end of the day too, less jerking means less strain on your shoulders and wrists. It's funny how a smoother tool can totally change your whole grooming experience.
