Skeptical about the hot towel warmer my old boss swore by, now I owe him an apology
Bought a cheap $40 towel warmer for the shop three months ago in Tucson and figured it was a gimmick that would just collect dust. My old boss kept saying clients melt when you finish a cut with a hot towel on the neck. First week I used it on a regular who never tips, and he handed me a $10 bill and said it felt like a real barbershop for once. Now I keep it running all day and the shave clients ask for it by name. Has anyone else had a tool or habit they dismissed that ended up being the thing clients talk about most?
