Rant: I dropped $150 on a 'professional' barber cape that started pilling after two washes.

What's a good, durable cape brand that actually holds up, or should I just stick with the basic ones?

Ugh, that's so frustrating for that price. Honestly, the pilling makes me wonder if it was actually a professional cape or just a marketing label. The truly heavy-duty ones are usually made from a thick vinyl or a specific coated nylon, not a fabric that pills. I've had a basic Cape Guard brand one for years that still looks new.
