Overheard a walk-in bragging about a $12 fade

Guy at the coffee shop next door was telling his buddy he gets his fade for $12 at some chain spot. I charge $35 and I'm booked out two weeks. Has anyone else had to deal with clients who think cheap is the whole game without seeing the difference in blending or linework?
