I swear my clippers felt different after that one blade swap

So I got this new Fade Machine blade last month, right? Felt buttery smooth out of the box, zero pull, perfect zero gapping. But after maybe 15-20 haircuts something shifted. It started grabbing on dry hair where it never did before, making this little skipping sound. I thought maybe I just needed to oil it more but nope, same thing. Then I compared it side by side with an old blade I had sitting in a drawer and noticed the cutting edge was actually reflecting light at a different angle. The new one had a slightly steeper bevel from the factory and it wore down way faster than the old style. Has anyone else noticed fades getting harder to pull off after the first month with those new tapered blades?

Quality goes out the window after a month" - honestly that hit me hard because it's so true. I bought a toaster last year and the knob fell off after six weeks, my grandma's old one is still going strong from the 80s. It's like they make everything now with planned obsolescence baked right in, you know? Ngl it makes me feel like I'm just throwing money away on stuff that's basically disposable. Tbh I'd rather pay double for something that actually lasts more than a few months.
