Hot take: a client in Dallas ripped apart my fade and he was dead right
Honestly I was pretty proud of the taper I did on this guy last month until he looked in the mirror and said the blend above his left ear was about half an inch off from the right side. I got defensive for a second, but he pulled out his phone and showed me a photo from the back, and yeah, it was uneven as hell. I had been rushing the back section with my clippers at a 1.5 guard instead of going over it twice with a 1, which is what I do on every other cut. Now I take a photo of every fade from three angles before I take the cape off, and my rebooks have gone up a lot. Anybody else change up their whole routine just because one client called them out?
