Had a Saturday where every single chair was full by 8 AM

I booked 12 cuts back to back and didn't even have time to sweep between the first three. Has anyone else had a day where you just forget to eat until 4 PM?

The Laura makes a solid point about staying fueled up, but 15 walk-ins before noon on a Tuesday sounds a bit exaggerated for most normal shops. Most places I know slow down hard after the morning coffee rush on a weekday. Might wanna take that cousin's story with a grain of salt unless she's in a massive downtown hub.

Yeah exactly, @riley_schmidt kinda nailed it. 15 walk-ins before noon on a Tuesday is a stretch for most places unless you're in like a major city center or near a big office park where people are constantly coming and going. Most shops I know, even busy ones, the morning rush is more like a steady trickle after 10 AM, not a flood. Unless your cousin is in a spot with a ton of foot traffic from commuters or something, I'd cut that number in half.

My cousin owns a shop two towns over and she had 15 walk-ins before noon on a random Tuesday. I get the grind but honestly, busy days like that are just part of the deal when you work in a high traffic spot. You could block off time between cuts or set a timer for a quick sweep and a protein bar. It's not sustainable to run on empty for hours, and your customers will notice if you're dragging.
