Had a client ask for a 'textured crop' last Tuesday, showed me a picture from a video game character. Spent 20 minutes trying to match it.

Yeah, video game hair is pure fantasy. They cheat with solid chunks that just swing around, no real layers or weight. Trying to copy that on a real head of hair... you'd need a ton of product and some magic.

Tried to fix that exact problem for a client last year, miles72. We just gave the character a short haircut in the end. Sometimes the best physics is avoiding them.
