Found out a hairdryer works better than a towel for neck hair cleanup

I got tired of picking little bits of hair off clients' necks with a brush and it never getting them all. Last Tuesday I grabbed my own hairdryer from home and blasted the neck area on low heat before brushing. The air lifts the loose hairs right off the skin and I'm done in ten seconds. Anyone else use a dryer for this or am I just overthinking cleanup?

Wait, are you telling me I've been torturing myself with a lint roller and those sticky tape things for nothing? My whole life is a lie. I literally spent fifteen minutes last week picking black strands off a white polo shirt after a neck trim, and now you're telling me hot air works better than my obsessive-compulsive picking hobby?

I saw something online a while back about how hair clippings actually have static cling that's worse after they get wet, so the hot air from a blow dryer basically neutralizes the charge and they just fall off. I tried it on a dark hoodie after a haircut and it was honestly wild how much stuff came off without me even touching it. The key is to use a no heat setting or low heat though, because if it's too hot you can melt synthetic fabrics. I still keep a lint roller around for the really stubborn embedded hairs, but the dryer trick saves me so much time. It's one of those things that feels like a cheat code once you know about it.

Did your friend try it yet? My buddy Dave swore by the lint roller until he borrowed his wife's hair dryer for a sweater and texted me like three photos of the lint pile on the floor saying he'd been "living in the dark ages.
