Dropped $95 on a pair of those fancy Japanese thinning shears, and they sit in my drawer now
The teeth were so fine they just pushed the hair instead of cutting it, so I went back to my $20 pair from the supply house on 5th. Anyone else find that cheap shears actually blend better on fine hair, or did I just get a bad set?

Man, I had the same thing happen with a $70 pair I got off Amazon. The teeth were too tight and just slid right through my hair. My old $15 Conair does the job just fine, so you're not crazy.
