A guy getting a fade told me his kid does haircuts on YouTube now, and it hit me weird
Had a walk in last Tuesday, dude maybe 45, getting his usual 3 on the sides and a hard part. He mentioned his 16 year old son watches barber videos at night and has started lining up his little brother's hair in the garage. I laughed at first, then he said something that stuck: "I paid $30 for what my kid learned off a free clip." I thought about it the rest of the cut. We spent our first couple years sweeping and watching, and now a teen can pause and rewind a fade 40 times in his room. I'm not mad about it, but I do wonder what brings people through the door when the lesson is free. What do you all do to keep the chair full when the knowledge is everywhere?
