Tried two different ways to measure flour for my sourdough and the scale method gave me a perfect loaf after three flat ones.

I was scooping from the bag for years, but switching to weighing 500 grams of flour with a $20 kitchen scale gave me way better oven spring and a consistent crumb, so has anyone else found a simple tool that fixed a stubborn baking problem?

Ever try a bench scraper? Total game changer for handling wet dough. I went from a sticky mess to actually shaping loaves properly.

Funny how the right tool can turn a chore into something you actually enjoy. It's like finding the exact right key for a lock you've been jiggling forever.

Right? It's not just for scraping the bench either. A good metal one can cut dough cleanly and help with folding. I keep mine in a cup of water while I work to stop dough from sticking to it. Makes the whole process less of a fight.
