My sourdough starter straight up DIED after a 3-day power outage.
It was a 20-year-old culture from my grandma, and now it's just grey water. Has anyone successfully revived a starter that looked completely gone?

Notice how everything feels built to break now, @the_fiona. My last streaming service changed its whole library overnight, and my favorite coffee shop is just another bank. We buy apps that get deleted or clothes that fall apart after three washes. It feels like we're just renting our whole lives, nothing sticks around long enough to feel solid.
