My grandma always said to never open the oven door when baking a souffle, but I didn't listen last night.
I peeked after 15 minutes and it collapsed completely into a sad, flat pancake. Anyone have a foolproof recipe for a chocolate version that can survive a little curiosity?

Honestly, that peek is like telling a ghost story right next to it. The souffle hears you and just gives up. My aunt's lemon one once sank because someone sneezed in the next room. I've accepted that any chocolate recipe still needs you to treat the oven like a sleeping baby. Maybe just bake brownies.

I mean, "a little curiosity" is what got you a pancake. Maybe grandma's rule is the only foolproof part of the recipe. Good luck finding a chocolate one that defies physics.
