I used to be a strict recipe follower until my banana bread flopped 3 times in a row
I always measured flour by scooping straight from the bag with the measuring cup... then my sister showed me weighing it on a cheap kitchen scale after I complained about dry muffins again. Now I weigh everything for quick breads and the texture is way more consistent. Anyone else stubborn about switching to weight measurements or am I the last holdout?

Nah you're not the last holdout, I still eyeball half my stuff.

Oh man, is it really that big of a deal? I mean I get that weighing stuff is more precise but I've been scooping flour with a damn coffee mug for years and my banana bread comes out fine. Idk, maybe it's just me but I feel like as long as you're not measuring with a shovel it's probably close enough.
