Tbh, I'm still uneasy about a butter swap I made for a diet order

Honestly, I had a customer order a dozen muffins for a gluten-free, dairy-free diet. They told me it was for a friend with allergies. I was out of my go-to dairy-free butter, so I grabbed a spread from the back that said 'plant-based' on the front. Ngl, I didn't check the fine print until after. Turns out it had milk solids in it. The muffins looked and tasted fine, and the customer never said anything. But now I keep thinking about what if their friend had a reaction. It feels wrong because I didn't do my homework. Have you ever messed up like this with special diets?

Been there. That guilt is brutal.

Ugh, did that with coconut oil once. Three whole batches before I saw "processed in a facility with tree nuts" on the label. My stomach dropped.

Oof, I only trust Spectrum coconut oil now since their plants are totally nut-free.
