My sourdough finally sprung after 14 flat loaves in a row

The only thing I changed was feeding it at 6am instead of 8pm, and yesterday's crust cracked open so loud my neighbor knocked to ask what the noise was, has anyone else had their starter respond to a feeding time shift like that?

I read somewhere that yeast activity follows a 12 hour cycle, so moving your feed could be shifting when it peaks. That crack sound is probably the crust stretching fast from that extra oomph.
