Hot take: I chose a stand mixer over a food processor for my new bakery and I'm regretting it

I needed to upgrade my equipment and went with a big KitchenAid mixer instead of a Cuisinart processor, thinking it was more versatile. Now I'm spending way too much time hand-chopping nuts and grating cheese for my morning scones. Anyone have a decent processor they'd recommend for under $200?

Oh man, that's the exact kind of choice that comes back to bite you. I feel your pain on the grating and chopping, it just eats up your morning. For under two hundred, the basic Cuisinart models are pretty solid workhorses for those exact jobs.

Tell me about it, those mornings are the worst.

Yeah josephbutler is right, that prep work just kills your flow. I mean it's always the small stuff you don't think about that ends up taking the most time.
