Finally caved and got a proper bench scraper for $28 after years of using a spatula.

It sounds dumb, but that one tool has saved me so much frustration cleaning my counter and dividing dough, anyone have a favorite brand for other basic gear?

Honestly, that's a total waste of cash. A metal spatula does the exact same job for a fraction of the price. I've been baking for decades and never needed some special single-use gadget just to scrape a counter.
