Shoutout to the VHS rip of Troll 2 I watched in 2019, the 4K remaster ruined the whole vibe
That grainy blur hid how fake the goblin masks looked, so my buddy and I could actually laugh at the movie instead of the picture quality. Did the crisp version kill the fun for anyone else, or am I just being picky?

Watched it both ways and honestly the 4K thing is way overblown in my book. Yeah the picture is sharper but Troll 2 is still Troll 2, the acting is still terrible, the lines are still insane, the popcorn scene is still the popcorn scene. A bad movie doesn't stop being funny just because you can see it better, in my experience the jokes land the same either way. Maybe the grain added some charm for you and that's fair, but calling it ruined seems like a stretch. Take this with a grain of salt since I never had that exact VHS, but I'd say you're being a little picky.
