Blew $30 renting a so-bad-it's-good movie pack off a gas station rack in Reno
Grabbed one of those 4-movie horror bundles from a truck stop outside Reno last month because the cover had a shark on a ski lift, and 3 of the 4 discs were scratched to death. The one that played was 90 minutes of a guy yelling at a fog machine, and my friends still bring it up. Anyone got a reliable way to check disc condition before buying used stuff like this?
