Warning: Built a trellis out of treated pine and it warped in 3 months

That trellis looked great when I finished it in June, but by September the 2x4s were twisting like crazy. Had to tear the whole thing down and rebuild using cedar instead. Has anyone else dealt with treated lumber failing on a garden structure?

Is it really that big of a deal? Warped wood happens sometimes, just flip it over and let it settle back.

Read something the other day about how moisture content and temperature changes cause that. Flipping it over only works if the wood wasn't glued or fastened while it was still damp.

Huh, so I guess flipping wood is like trying to un-bake a cake?
