My buddy used that stuff and said it turned into concrete soup in the rain before he could spread it. Whole weekend shot.

Haven't had that issue myself, but I've used it on three different patios and a walkway without any trouble. The trick is to not open the bag until you're literally ready to dump it and spread it in a dry stretch. Plus, for $12 a bag, you're getting a product that's already crushed and graded compared to hauling bulk material from a yard. Am I missing something about what went wrong with yours?
