Finally got my raised beds leveled after a week of fighting them

Spent all last Sunday digging and re-setting 4 cedar beds in my backyard here in Portland. Turns out my first attempt was off by almost 3 inches on the slope. Used a 6-foot level and some gravel packs under the corners and now they're dead flat. Has anyone else dealt with wonky ground messing up their garden setup?

Didn't I read somewhere that using a laser level makes that way easier to check?
