Dropped $120 on a cheap pressure washer from Home Depot in Tulsa and it died after 3 uses, stick with something that has replaceable parts you can actually fix.
Anyone else had a budget washer crap out on them or am I just unlucky?

Bought a Ryobi from Home Depot a couple years ago for around the same price. Worked fine for the first season, then the pump seals blew out mid-wash. Took me an hour to find the right seal kit online for like 12 bucks. Put it back together in the driveway and it's been running ever since. I'd say you got unlucky with that specific one, but budget washers are a gamble. If you can, look for something with an easy to swap pump or a simple Honda clone engine. Way easier to fix than a sealed unit.

$12 for a seal kit ain't bad honestly. I've had a cheap pressure washer from Harbor Freight for like 4 years and it's still kicking. But yeah those sealed units are a nightmare when they break. You just gotta hope nothing major goes wrong before you wear it out.
