Update: The trailhead for the Lost Coast is getting wrecked by people parking wrong

I was up at the Mattole River trailhead last weekend and saw at least five cars parked in the grass, blocking the gate for the shuttle. They're ignoring the clear signs and it's creating a huge mess when the shuttle bus can't get through. How do you handle crowded trailheads without ruining it for everyone else?

Nah, they had to close the trailhead for two hours that same day.

@the_laura those five cars were blocking actual emergency vehicle access, not just the shuttle.

Gotta be honest, sounds a bit dramatic. Is the shuttle actually getting blocked every single time or was this just one bad weekend? People make dumb parking mistakes everywhere. Maybe the signs aren't as clear as they could be, or there just isn't enough space. I've seen way worse at other spots that somehow keep functioning.
