Took 9 trips before I stopped packing my tent wrong
Every single time I set up camp, the rainfly went on soaked from morning dew inside my pack. I figured it was just part of the deal until a guy in Yosemite pointed out I was rolling it clockwise instead of counter. He showed me his dry sack trick and now my base weight dropped by 2 pounds. Turns out I was also folding my sleeping bag the same way for 6 years, crushing the loft every morning. How do you guys keep your gear dry without carrying extra stuff sacks on the JMT section? Any route where you just gave up on dry camp mornings for good?
